Richard Hoover
Owner / Manager Richard spent over 20 years in the farming industry before joining his father in the metal building business in 1999. Richard bought the business in 2001 and has guided the company from its small beginnings to its present position as a leading contractor in the local area. He is actively involved in the daily decisions of the company and especially focuses on sales and customer relations. |
Tom Schaller
Estimator & Designer Tom is the primary designer and estimator for the sales team. He has a B.S. in ‘Visual Communications’ – CAD Drafting / Design from Millersville University. He has 20+ years experience in the construction industry including residential work, remodeling, commercial work, and project management. He has been a part of the Hoover team since 2004. |
Arnold Martin
Estimator & Designer Arnold joined the Hoover team in 2010 as an estimator and CAD operator. His building experience is quite extensive, having been involved in residential, remodel, and light commercial construction since 1980. |
Brendon Weaver
Accountant & Draftsman Brendon oversees the bookkeeping for the company. He also is the primary CAD operator and contributes the CAD drawings to the sales and design team. He has 10+ years experience in bookkeeping and has completed several AutoCAD classes at HACC. |
Merlin Boll
Project Manager Merlin worked in residential and commercial construction as a new construction / remodel contractor for approximately 15 years before coming to Hoover Building Specialists in 2002. His 20+ years of construction experiences include all phases of carpentry, drafting, estimating, and project management. |
Harold Eberly
Project Manager Harold graduated from Millersville University in 1988 with a B.S. in Industrial Technology. His 20+ years of construction experiences includes sales, drafting, estimating, and project management. |
Ken Allgyer
Field Superintendent Ken has been in construction since 1985 and has a broad range of experience including residential framing and trim carpentry. Since coming to Hoover Building Specialists, he has managed numerous, complex, turn-key projects. |
Doug Hoover
Field Superintendent Doug is the third generation of the Hoover family to be involved in the business. He has been working for Hoover Building Specialists since he was 16 years old and he has experience in most phases of construction. He has been a field superintendent since 2008. |
Arthur Detweiler
Field Superintendent Arthur grew up on his family’s dairy farm, and started in construction as a teenager. His construction experience includes excavating and general construction. He started with Hoover Building Specialists in 2010. |
